GLM Gives Back
As dance fills us with energy, inspiration, creativity and hope, our Studio is passionate about giving this positivity back to our local community and beyond, especially to those most in need.
Fundraising events are built into the yearly GLM calendar, with our annual Hornsby Relay for Life team being a highlight for many of our dancers and team. Team GLM has entered the Hornsby Relay for 6 years running, raising thousands of dollars over the years, making big strides for a cancer-free future together. Our 2023 Relay for Life team raised a significant total of $5,205 for the Cancer Council, and winning highest number of laps walked by a team (2406 laps of Rofe Park - that's 697.74km of distance (in some very adverse weather conditions))! What a wonderful testament to the dedication and generosity of our dancers and GLM community.
Dress up weeks and fun themes are a staple at GLM, with dedicated events each year collecting donations for worthy charities including Dance for Sick Kids, The Pyjama Foundation and Sock it to Sarcoma.
And when we’re not running* laps around Rofe Park or wearing our best dress ups to class all week, you might catch us performing at your school fete or sharing the love with gift certificates for a fundraising raffle. Could GLM support your next event or fundraiser? Drop us a line here, we’d love to hear from you.
*by running, we mean dancing...

I have been going here for about a year now, and I have loved it. Georgia, Louisa, Michelle, all the teachers, and Liz care so deeply about the studio and their students, and vice versa.
The ethos of the studio, focusing on community and learning, is evident throughout their teaching, and it makes sure I want to come back every week and continue developing my skills, in a very positive and inclusive environment.
