Uniform
At GLM Dance Studio, our uniform helps every student feel part of the dance family - while also supporting safe and confident movement in class.
Wearing the correct uniform ensures students are dressed appropriately for their style of dance, allowing teachers to give clear feedback on technique and helping everyone dance their best. It also promotes a sense of pride, equality, and belonging across our studio.

Our uniform requirements are based on the practical needs of each style and, in some cases, on Ballet Australasia Ltd (BAL) examination standards.
Non-binary students may choose the uniform option that they feel most comfortable in or speak with their teacher for support.
Trialling a class? Any comfortable clothing is perfectly fine for your trial lesson, including bare feet. For tap trials: we have a number of second-hand tap shoes available at the studio that you can borrow for the trial.

Students are welcome to wear whatever they feel comfortable in for this class, including a leotard, tutu, or any comfortable clothing.
