Bring on the triple threats, we LOVE Musical Theatre at GLM! Our Musical Theatre teachers work with students to develop their skills in singing, dancing and acting, learning how to combine all three disciplines into a musical performance.

You don’t need dance experience (and singing isn’t compulsory!) - these classes are all about FUN and personal goals. We cater to your strengths while also working to improve your performance skills through exploration and training in song and dance, improvisation, theatre games and vocal techniques, with a strong emphasis on theatre jazz. If you’re curious what Musical Theatre is all about, or perhaps want to work on some particular skills, why not come along for a free trial? We welcome total beginners through to experienced dancers/performers. See you in the Studio!

Classes

Junior Musical Theatre (9-15 years)

Tuesday 4:00pm - 4:45pm

Senior Musical Theatre (16+ years)

Monday 7:45pm - 8:45pm

Age refers to how old a student turns in 2024.

Musical Theatre classes at GLM cater to a range of experience levels. There is a strong focus on theatre jazz, but no dance experience is necessary (beginners are certainly encouraged!). Singing is not compulsory.

Enrolments: Enrolments are open, and new students are welcome to join throughout the year (tuition will be pro rata). Classes break for school holidays. Click here to learn more about enrolling at GLM.

Showcase: The high point of the dance year for many, GLM presents a Showcase each December - two fabulous evenings in which our entire student body gets to show their progression and perform the dances they have been learning in their classes for their family, friends and loved ones.
