Hello!
Meet Miss Sarah
Miss Sarah has been dancing since the age of four, beginning her journey in ballet and jazz before expanding her training to include hip-hop, contemporary, musical theatre, and tap. Her love of dance has grown alongside her passion for teaching, allowing her to share her knowledge while continuing to learn and evolve as both a dancer and educator.
Teaching since 2020, Miss Sarah is deeply passionate about building positive relationships with her students and creating a supportive, inspiring classroom environment. She places a strong emphasis on confidence, musicality, discipline, and technique - particularly in ballet - while encouraging dancers to express themselves with artistry and joy. Her goal is for every student to leave class feeling accomplished, inspired, and happy.
Miss Sarah is currently completing her Master of Teaching (Secondary), alongside a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Research. With a love for learning and education, she is excited to begin her career as a high school teacher, combining her interests in history, social studies, and student development both inside and outside the studio.
For Miss Sarah, GLM Dance Studio is more than just a workplace - it’s family. She treasures the studio’s inclusive, positive culture and loves being part of a community that values both strong technique and the joy of dance. Watching students grow in confidence, develop their skills, and discover their love of dance is what makes teaching at GLM so special to her.
Outside of dance, Miss Sarah is a proud and devoted Aunty, a passionate reader (with a collection of over 1,000 books!), a film lover, and someone who enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors.
Her advice to dancers? Enjoy the journey. Focus on your own growth, celebrate what makes you unique, and trust that improvement will follow when you love the process.
