Meet Miss Sarah

Miss Sarah has been dancing for most of her life, beginning with ballet and jazz before expanding her training to include hip-hop, contemporary, musical theatre, and tap. Since joining the GLM teaching team in 2020, she has loved supporting dancers of all ages as they build confidence, creativity and friendships while growing both in and outside the studio.

With a strong focus on confidence, musicality, discipline and technique, Miss Sarah loves sharing her passion for dance in a supportive environment where dancers can develop their technical skills and find joy in movement and artistic expression. Her goal is for every student to leave each class feeling accomplished, inspired and happy.

Seeing students build confidence, develop their skills, and find their love for dance in such a welcoming environment makes teaching at GLM so special.

Outside of dance, Sarah is a high school teacher specialising in History and Society and Culture. She is passionate about education and loves supporting young people as they develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the world around them.

When she’s not teaching in the classroom or the dance studio, Sarah enjoys spending time at the gym, reading, watching films, and making memories with friends and family. She especially loves spending time with her four nieces and nephews, who keep her busy and entertained.

Drawn to GLM's philosophy that dance is for everyone, Miss Sarah loves being part of a welcoming community that values both strong technique and the joy of dance.

Her advice to dancers? Enjoy the journey. Focus on your own growth, celebrate what makes you unique, and don't compare your progress to others. When you enjoy the process, improvement will naturally follow.
